Established in 1996, Dunmore East Angling Charters is the longest running charter boat operation in the region. We specialize in Reef, Wreck and Shark Fishing.

About the Skipper:
John is the longest serving charter boat skipper in Waterford, A qualified
merchant navy officer and keen angler. He also has a very comprehensive
knowledge of the shipwrecks on the south east coast and has put technical divers down on over 25 different wrecks in water up to 90 meters deep (many more virgin wrecks to be explored).
Fishing:
Wreck, Reef and Shark Angling. Full day, Half day, and Evening Trips. Rod & Tackle Hire available. It is not uncommon to catch 15 or more different species including Cod, Ling, Whiting, Conger, Pollack, Coalfish, Gurnards, Wrasse, and Dogfish.
Blue Shark are available up to 100lbs from about the end of July.

Scenic Trips, Whale & Dolphin Watching
Scenic Trips, Bird Watching, Whale and Dolphin watching when available. The Sea off Hook Head is one of the best spots around the coast of Ireland for a chance to see Fin Whales, Humpback Whales and Minkie Whales. While Harbour Porpoise are a very common occurance it is also possible to spot Risso's Dolphins, Common Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins as well as a multitude of sea birds and seals. Basking sharks, once very common around our coast are making a come back and make an apperance when conditions are right.
